Project 2
This Project was carried out on a new build property. The design was to incorporate a large seating area, partly shaded by a pergola over the patio doors. At the other end of the property there was to be an elevated deck built around a hot tub. Over the hot tub was to be a pergola with a mix of trellis and willow screens for privacy. Projecting from the front of the deck was to be small bridge over an ornamental stream. Electrical cables were routed throughout the deck to provide lighting and outdoor sockets. Retaining log walls incorporating a decorative slate path and steps were installed to the front of the deck down to the stream at the bottom of the garden. Short balustrade was used around the main deck area to allow an unrestricted view from inside the house. Standard height balustrade was used around the hot tub because of the elevation. The front elevation of the deck area was closed in with TGV. The lawn area and planting was completed by the customer.
